Application Engineer - Georgetown, ON

Summary
MHS® provides innovative engineering for some of the world's most advanced injection molding projects. In a highly competitive market, success happens one project at a time. Injection molding is a multi-disciplinary technology that requires a team of experts and seamless interaction. Our integrated and proactive approach covers all aspects of the injection molding project including:

Key Duties and Responsibilities
You will work within a dynamic project team environment, designing hot runner systems to customer specific needs and providing global support for mold design and material processing. You will support international mold makers and injection molders to optimize the production of plastic parts for all industries (packaging, medical, automotive, appliance).

• Part design
• Plastic material properties
• Mechanical analysis
• Rheological analysis
• Molding process
• Injection mold design
• Hot runner design
• Hot runner manufacturing
• Plastic processing

Qualifications
Minimum of (5) years plastic processing and knowledge of thermoplastic materials for hot runner injection molded plastic parts,
five (5) years sales and customer relations

• Mechanical or related engineering degree required
• Working knowledge of Solid Works / CAD
• Fluent in written and spoken English and German
• Additional languages are an asset
